The process for becoming an AGNP Credentialed Notary is just that - a process. It takes time and requires effort - just like any worthwhile endeavor. You should expect the process to take 4 - 6 months to complete, but the actual timeframe is up to you.

• Join AGNP. You must be an AGNP member to participate in the program. The first button below takes you to the payment portal. Dues are paid annually.

• Begin working on your Candidate Information Form. This form gives us the information we need to determine who you are as a notary, what you’ve done up to now, and what you aspire to be as a notary professional. This form must be submitted before you receive the examination.

• Once you submit your CIF and the required supplentary documents, we will send you a link to your exam.

• The Examination is unique to the candidate and the questions will be oriented to your personal notary history, practice, and goals. The exam is fillable PDF of a Word document with a combination of short answers and essays. The exam is not proctored, but your fundamental integrity and honesty is expected.

• The Dossier Checklist is a list of the documents that you will be submitting to us as part of the credentialing process.
